This is a basic tune-up that preps the bicycle before a race or big event you might have. It includes shifting and braking adjustments, frame and wheel cleaning, alignment /torque /safety checks, tubeless recharge, and handlebar tape install. The bicycle is finished with a quick protective ceramic polish. If you use a waxed chain, this is a great time to re-dip for an additional $20.

Flexible Appointments
Race tune-ups can be completed mobile as well as in house. Appointments are welcome — service to fit your schedule! Pickup and delivery available with 24 hour (or less) turnaround.
Complete Overhaul $200
This is the complete top to bottom service for your bicycle. It covers install of new parts like handlebar tape, cables, and components. Ultrasonic cleaning of the drivetrain and small parts leaves no residue or contaminants. All major systems of the bicycle are renewed. This includes piston service and bleeds for hydraulic setups, internal routing systems. If you race, commute, or just ride a ton, this is the best choice for your yearly maintenance.
Triathlon / Time Trial –
Due to the additional servicing of the aero cockpit, complete overhauls for these types of bicycles is $240.
Ultrasonic Cleaning and Polish
Using Simple Green Extreme at a dilution of 1:20, ultrasonic cleaning will lift the dirt off of parts and leave finishes untouched. It’s safe for all metals and composites and reccommended by many top team mechanics. A ceramic protective polish is applied to the entire frame and wheels. This helps protect from paint fade, chips, and dirt.

Molten Wax Chain Treatment | $45
Silca Secret Chain Blend and Speedwax available for new chains and re-dipping.
Hot wax on bicycle chains is a game changer. Molten application allows the paraffin wax blend to completely coat the chain. This provides a protective coating that prevents premature wear. It also allows for smoother, quieter shifting.
A chain treated with wax usually last about 800-1000 miles of riding. In extreme conditions, it usually lasts a minimum of 500 miles before it needs to be redipped.
Redipping chains is also a service provided. At incremental mileage points, the chain can be wiped clean and redipped. According to most chain wax brands, it actually FASTER with each dip because of the way the wax fills the surface of the links, pins, and rollers.

Drivetrain Install | $180
If you have a new groupset or drivetrain (or similar) parts you’d like installed onto your existing bicycle.
Drivetrain/Group Install Adjustments
This service requires an inspection of the bicycle and components. BCV can help with parts selection or substitutions.

AXS Mullet Upgrade | $100
Need more gearing on your gravel bike? Navigate and upgrade to an AXS MTB rear derailleur and driver with BCV!
AXS Mullet Installs/Adjustments
Firmware update of all components
Align derailleur hanger, install new hanger, or removal of hanger for Transmission direct mounts.
Includes install of new chain, adjustment of shifting, pre-load check of crank interface. This is also a great time to start up with a waxed chain. Mullet setups typically are ridden in dusty, ‘graveley’ conditions because of the gearing range needed and a waxed chain will stay clean and perform correctly.

Suspension Linkage Service $150
Full disassembly of suspension linkage. Cleaning, installation of new bearings, and reassembly. All pivots and parts inspected. Bolts torqued to manufacturer’s spec.

Rock Shox Flight Attendant Install $140
The ultimate in proactive and reactive. FA learns as you ride. We’re well-versed in setting it up.

Premium Cartridge Bearing Service
Cartridge bearings on your bicycle need a periodic service to maintain their super smooth operation. Many of the ones seen at BCV are ceramic, so not cheap to replace. By performing a flush of the bearings, install of appropriate lubricants, and correct install into the bicycle or wheel, you can extend the life of these high performance bearings drastically.
